Heather L. Kawaguchi Founding Partner

With more than 20 years of experience and countless appearances before juries, judges, adjudicators, arbitrators and mediators, Heather is proud to be a founding partner of Kawaguchi Krajden, LLP.

As a civil litigator, Heather has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide array of matters. This includes first party claims, commercial and general liability casualty claims and short and long-term disability claims. Heather is honored to be selected by her peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers of Canada list in the area of personal injury.

Ari Krajden, Founding Partner

Ari graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A in psychology in 1999 and received his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2002.

Ari has extensive experience defending insurers in a wide variety of claims, including coverage disputes, motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall accidents, fraudulent claims and claims on commercial general liability policies.

Ari has extensive experience as lead counsel before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Appeal.

He has acted as lead counsel at jury trials as well as summary judgment motions, arbitrations and coverage applications.
